The Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell of Marian Academy of Management Studies is dedicated to developing a safe and respectful campus environment. The cell addresses issues related to sexual harassment, promotes awareness, and ensures the effective implementation of policies to protect the dignity of all members of the college community.

To cultivate a campus culture of respect, safety, and inclusivity, free from sexual harassment and discrimination.

To empower students and staff with awareness and resources to prevent sexual harassment and to provide a confidential and supportive mechanism for addressing grievances.

1.  Create awareness about sexual harassment and related issues among students and staff.
2. Provide a confidential platform for reporting and addressing grievances.
3. Conduct workshops and seminars on gender sensitivity and legal rights.
4. Ensure a safe and inclusive environment on campus.
5. Encourage students to uphold values of respect and equality.

Summary of recent activities

1. Logo Launch – This is an important milestone in our journey. The event was organized to unveil a new logo of Science and IT Club.
2. Lunar Quiz Competitions - The event was organized on 22/7/2024 to commemorate Lunar Day and to enhance student’s knowledge about the moon and related scientific concepts. The competition was interdepartmental collaboration among UG students.
3. Cyber Security Awareness Class – was conducted to educate students on the importance of safeguarding their digital presence. The session covered by Mr.Ramkumar, Senior Security Analyst, on 25/10/24. and the session covered with practical demonstrations of different cyber terms.
